Hey everyone,
After thinking long and hard about what I was going to write on my first post, the answer was VERY apparent: The Scandinavian countries have started producing MASSIVE designer hits – whether it’s home decor, fashion and even the automobile industry (excluding the obvious Volvo and Saab, there are Koenigsegg & Caresto to name the most innovative car companies) >>
I’ll admit, both Sweden & Denmark have really become my biggest fashion influence in the past couple of years – and as you can see from stores like Story, Not For Sale and Department Store all offering a large variety of Scandinavian brands like WoodWood, Anerkjendt, RAINS , Happy Socks, Filippa K and a few other neat brands, it’s not just me: there really is demand for something new, fresh, funky and different: and those come in abundance from Sweden, Denmark and even little Norway 🙂
It’s obvious I cannot write this post without mentioning H&M, Cheap Monday, Monki, Weekday plus my personal favorite – Selected and many other BIG international Scandinavian brands; all of which offer affordable trendy clothes… much like their Spanish rivals – Zara, Pull & Bear, Bershka & Massimo Dutti.
So, I’ve made a pretty cool list of brands – most of which are really affordable, trendy brands:
Watches – Skagen, Daniel Wellington, Obaku, Miró, TID, mutewatch, bravur, Triwa and the bit more expensive brands – Georg Jensen & Lars Larsen.

From LTR: Georg Jensen – KOPPEL, Skagen – Ancher, Triwa – Sort of Black Gold
Outdoorsy lifestyle, Bags & Belts – Royal Republiq, RAINS, Humör, Sandqvist, Saddler, Fjällräven, P.A.P Sweden, Mismo, Bjorn borg, Helly Hansen, NewLine Sports, WeSC, Peak Performance, Haglöfs, Panos Emporio >>
Shoes – Jim Rickey, Tretorn, Hummel, the last conspiracy.
Clothes – Suit DK, Samsøe & Samsøe, mads nørgaard, Rascals, ACNE Studios, WoodWood, Tiger of Sweden, Norse Projects, Normann Copenhagen , Storm Copenhagen, Gabba, Han Kjobenhavn, Our Legacy, Consil Koebenhavn, Oscar Jacobson, No Nationality 07, Elvine, Numph DK, Just Junkies, Won Hundred, Libertine Libertine, Les Deux Copenhagen, Matinique, Sand Copenhagen, Resteröds, SoulLand, CMMN SWDN, DR Denim >>
Editor’s note: If you’re ever in Copenhagen – you have got to visit these few good stores:
naked Copenhagen – a very cool women’s sneaker store, Field’s which is a big shopping center where you’ll find Quint and Kings and Queens which just so happens to be my personal favorite… and if you’re just unsure about where you should generally go while in København – simply visit CPH’s official website.
